Our mission at PURIST is to produce and retail a range of natural soap and body products using sustainable ingredients, locally sourced (where possible)  and employing local people therefore supporting the local economy.  PURIST trades as a social enterprise generating a business surplus that is reinvested into the enterprise for the benefit of furthering this and other related community projects.

PURIST are working with Groundwork South West as a delivery partner for the Future Jobs Fund Programme, where we provide short term job oppotunities in retail and production to support people to build their confidence and skills - supporting them to move on into further employment.

The products we make are unique in the fact that they are all made by hand on site, using ingredients that are bought from companies with a  fair trade and environmental policy. In addition our products are not tested on animals and are suitable for people with sensitive skin and also vegans as no animal by products are used in the production.

We at PURIST believe that our range of products are tailor made for today’s more environmentally aware consumers, as more and more people are concerned about the impact their daily lives are having on the world around them.  This presents us with a strong marketing opportunity as the consumer can enjoy our range of naturally luxurious products with a clean social conscience.
